Lately, Patanjali has been a grand success in India FMCG market with a staggering valuation of ₹3,000 crore (US$450 million). Many are already trying to reverse engineer the strategy adopted by Team Patanjali and Baba Ramdev to crack the domestic market.
Recently, we heard that they are planning to launch Jeans too. Though the product’s origin is foreign which is against the “Swadeshi” principles preached by Baba Ramdev aggressively.
The concepts of Patanjali Ayurvedic Condoms?
Who knows, they may enter in condom’s market and may come up with innovative. Here are some concepts we propose for early adopters! Have fun!!

“Make in India” is an initiative by Government of India. The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi has launched it in 2014 to motivate the national as well as multi-national companies to manufacture their products in India. As a result, story behind below concept started.
What if ‘Make in India’ started way earlier?
One fine day at PugMarker, we had the conversation about “Make in India’s” positives and contribution for Indian entrepreneurs as well as new startups. The fruitful discussion went around 2-3 hours. Well, there has to be a funny outcome if we seriously delve in something, our creative instinct popped out. We thought, what if ‘Make in India’ initiative had been implemented way earlier? Here are few hilarious concepts.
Logo and identity concept 😀
The thought was, if Indian entrepreneurs had started big companies like ebay, Intel etc then what could have been their names? Indian first generation of entrepreneurs named their company after their surnames. The biggest companies we have like Tata, Bajaj, Birla, Godrej etc, considering the fact, we listed down few of the foreign companies and re imagined their logos with a twist 😉
What if eBay started by Mr. Dubey? and how their logo would look like?
Same as what if Intel was started by Mr. Patel?
Why not to consider Google, the biggest search engine started by Mr. Duggal?
Also, what if we were way ahead than Japanese? How Canon would have looked like?
What if Bentley started by Jaitley? …and there it goes..whrooommmm!!!
What if Ducati started by Gulati? No guesses please!
What if Rexona started by Saxena?
Same as What if Nestle started by Bhosale?
What if Dell started by Tandel? and how their logo would look like?
What if Honda started by Handa? I know it’s too close 😛
Same as what if Paypal started by Gopal? Too Indian, isn’t it?
We asked each other this question 3 years back while we were planning to do business together. As a result, we delved deeper inside individually & tried to understand ourselves first. Coincidently all of us came up with the same answer that we love helping others. That small but important exercise is now the big reason behind value proposition of the company and ‘Happiness month’ (August 2017) celebration at PugMarker. 🙂
We Design Happiness
A smile on your face at the end of the work has become an addiction and we go the extra mile to achieve it. We are a professional strategist, UI-UX, Websites, Progressive Web App, Branding, Marketing collateral designers and much more. The mission does not stop after earning bread and butter. We love to contribute to the roots from where we learned. It motivates us to help a designer and non-designer community to grow faster. We make sure every member of our team has a life goal and they are on right track. We believe this linchpin is the crux of quality we deliver as everybody works for themselves and not just for the company.
This August month, we are coming up with more happiness for you as PugMarker is celebrating its 3rd anniversary on 26th August. The month is also known as ‘Happiness Happens Month‘. Happiness happens day/month encourages people to do something which they love to do from bottom of their heart. With this dual celebration, we are bringing ‘Exclusive Happiness Offer’ for you.
Here is something exciting. We have come up with yet another set of creative ideas for social causes reimagined through brand logos, like we did it previously. Missed the first part? You can always checkout here
It’s fun to be integral part of Social event like Social Media Day. While working, with Social Champs for SMDay preparations, our Social Media Marketing Kit has been so helpful for delivering fast output with good quality design that we have decided to make it available as social media day giveaway.
How does the Kit help beyond just Social Covers pic?
Be it any Facebook, Google +, Twitter or Linked in activity, you can create images very fast by using multiple smart objects. We have made it such a way that you can use different patterns, icons available in downloadable files. You can see how it can be done in DIY kit. We and Social Champ team is posting many images using the kit. Please check this FB Page.
It’s a great pleasure to announce that we are Ecosystem Partner of Social Media Day India (Pune).
We are assisting Social Champs, who are organizing Social Media Day India. We have designed Logo for the event, website design support and overall design strategy for digital and print both with well thought social campaign made by Gajanan and Team . It’s a great fun and learning doing hard work in very less time. 😉
We are firm believers of what Milton Glaser says, “Less is not more. Just enough is more” (1). Lets undesign web has been our mission!
This truly applies to modern digital world. This is more evident as Internet has been replacing habit of “reading” by “scanning” and attention span is decreasing inversely proportional to volume of information availability on Internet.
For us, “Simple yet effective and professional” is the key. Yes, it is certainly not that simple to achieve simplicity, but the (undesign) process* we follow, has really made us believe that we can deliver effectively with end goal in mind. We have been working hard to improve with every design task we execute.
While working, we have come across certain situations that taught us hard lessons as well, however, we feel, it’s part and parcel of the game. Some good experiences we have tried to put in Logo Making and Website Redesign (coming soon) case studies as well.
As you can see, we are using Twenty Fifteen WordPress theme (slightly modified) as of now. We have been trying hard to come up with new design structure. It’s been on card since very long but the long project pipeline is delaying it ahead. It’s a sweet pain for us as we promise to deliver less project at a time and give 100% to everything we do.
There is lot on the way. Stay tuned for more stuff. I will keep posted on our blog.
*Lets undesign web process : We are coming up with our process in detail.
Morphological Matrix has been used for solving creative problems for long and recently we come across how to use Morphological Matrix for logo design process.
Curiously, we decided to delve further and here we are trying to put process in simple to understand format.
Please do not forget to visit detailed Logo Design Case Study. If you can start reading that and come here, it will be more clear to understand.
Meaning of Morphosis
It is a manner in which an organism or any of it’s part changes form or undergoes development. In our context, let’s say the organism is our final logo that we will be delivering through step by step analysis and synthesis. Ref : 1, 2
What is Morphological matrix?
It is a way to break down thought process into smaller elements like words, letters, picture elements, character, place etc. Have a look at example below for understanding it quickly.
Evolution of Morphological Matrix
Even though Fritz Zwicky coined the concept “Morphological analysis” for his astronomical studies, it’s been extended for different purposes over the years like Tom Ritchey for GMA (General Morphological Analysis) and Dr. Scott Isaksen used for creative problem solving methodologies. Ref : 1, 2
The matrix that we used is based on Mario Pricken’s idea explained in his book “Creative Advertising“. We have tried to put this process in simplified format in next section.
The creative problem solving framework
Based on above framework, where designing process is at the heart of it and more importantly on the basis of “generating ideas” and “preparing for action”, we have prepared Matrix below.
How did we prepare Morphological Matrix?
When we were planning to design logo for Beers bakery, we preferred to have few key ideas like
Name / letters / word
Cake in simplified format
Based on fundamentals of Matrix, we put above key ideas in left first column and on the right hand side, tried to explore different possibilities of design elements. It is appeared that possibilities are infinite while doing this kind of exercise, it’s crucial to focus design end goal (which is logo for bakery) and be persistent for the best possibilities.
Here is what a Morphological Matrix we prepared
The next step is choosing elements that would be fundamental part of logo execution.
Analysis & Brainstorming
One very important step to note here is we have done brainstorming and detailed analysis while choosing aspect of every key idea (mentioned above). “Good” analysis is matter of practice, visualization and maturity of balancing design aspect and understanding positioning of a brand in market.
The three elements chosen were marked in red in above image. Please don’t underestimate the fact that they are strategically chosen from three different aspects of bakery USP’s. 😉
Based on 3 selected element, further process is explained in detailed case study.

How to change Text? As you know, if you select group “Text”, you can easily replace text the way you want.
How to change icons? No worries, we have used Smart objects here inside “Icons” group. Double clicking smart objects will take you to new Photoshop file where you can replace icon. If you want, you can also find many icons here which may suit your need. If you want specific icons for your business, you can also find smaller set of icons here. In case if you do not find, let us know if there any specific requirement is there to create icon.
How to change background colors/patterns? Inside “BG_Options” group, there is a smart object “Place_Your_BG_Here”. Double clicking it, you can see four groups which can be used to create many different types of backgrounds like changing pattern colors, BG colors; you can even have either flat or gradient BG.
Here is what we have created for our Facebook cover pic using above process. We get this result in 10 minutes with the help of smart objects, Shape layers, Various options for BG ( Flat & Gradient Color ) you can change it with just only one click.
With little bit more efforts and visualization you can also deliver better output by combining objects from our other files for example the line hexagon pattern can be taken from Social_Connections.psd inside Facebook_851px X 315px > PSD_FILES & can be added to enhance your design.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of beautiful minds, Dr. John Nash and his wife! 🙁 May god rest their soul in peace.
When he says “Classes will dull your mind destroy the potential for authentic creativity“, (in Beautiful Mind) we somehow connect our college days where we were always eager to go out and learn.
Even though we are core designers, we equally love Mathematics and are always trying to achieve balance between two. We have been big fan of Game Theory and have been studying if we can contribute something by experimenting in UX and game theory.
Thank you Dr. Nash for your such a wonderful contribution to world. We will always remember you!
I, on behalf of Team PugMarker, would like to congratulate Silverbug to be sponsoring one of the most exciting football clubs in the UK, Wolverhampton Wanderers! It is really exciting to be part of the journey.

We provide design solutions to Silverbug Ltd, including website. To represent their services, we have designed unique and concept based service icons for their website. After few days, we got pleasant surprise as Team Silverbug used our icons on their celebration cake!
I really wish I could have had a piece of the yummy cake! 😛
We are coming soon with detailed case study. Stay tuned!
Designing logo is always fun especially when there is something special hidden behind it. Recently we have designed a logo for U.K. based Beers Bakery. There is beautiful combination of Art and Maths which balances the design.
Skeleton of Logo – Play with it!
Drag mouse by clicking arrow or finger over the image below and you will understand what is really hidden behind the logo!
Wait, where is Math here?
The logo curves and baselines are based on Golden Ratio and Fibonacci Sequence. Here is how it is made. We are coming soon with detailed case study. Stay Tuned!
